Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continuous access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a mission-critical infrastructure or equivalent experience in a relevant industry
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office products
• High school or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and recording information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing rack installs and decommissioning
• Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Monitoring daily work requests, managing resolutions, and executing projects
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working in shifts up to 12-hours, including on-call rotations
• Supporting more than one location/site
