Industrial Engineer, Factory Planning, Project Kuiper Tooling and GSE Engineering

Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. We are hiring an Industrial Engineer to support Factory Planning within our GSE Engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with prototyping and implementation

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-level CAD models, rate calculators, and equipment lists for production and product flow through the factory
• Develop and maintain high-level utility budgets, LN2, GN2, Compressed Air, Electrical
• Drive a unified production vision across a variety of different product lines within available constraints
• Deliver plans for layout and construction of factory cells based on co-development with area leaders
• Work with internal and external teams to deliver rate capable facilities to meet timelines
