Job Description

The Amazon Critical Infrastructure Field Engineer provides full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, from design inception through maintenance, troubleshooting, and mentoring.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in fire protection engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in engineering or construction industry related to fire protection
Valid US driver's license and reliable personal transportation

Responsibilities

Perform design and equipment submittal review for new Data Centers
Troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis for site/equipment failures
Mentor and train customers and partner engineers in fire protection principles
Develop innovative solutions for AWS's data centers
Initiate and lead engineering audits within Amazon's data centers
