ICT Design Engineer, JWO Professional Services, ICT Design Team

Job Description

As an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Design Engineer at Amazon Physical Stores, you will work on designing and deploying ICT infrastructure, including IoT devices and network equipment, to support the innovative Just Walk Out (JWO) Technology.

Requirements

• BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent
• 5+ years Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design experience
• 5+ years of working experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products
• 5+ years of experience developing design documentation for construction and/or permitting
• 3+ Years experience in Revit

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various teams to coordinate design and deployment of ICT infrastructure
• Review, approve and stamp ICT product data submittals
• Develop and establish ICT BODs, SOPs, and Construction Specifications
• Work with BIM teams to create and revise design drawing details
• Analyze, optimize, troubleshoot and improve Wi-Fi network designs
• Write technical documents and present proposals to executive leadership
• Manage procurement teams, product manufacturers, and vendors
• Develop and provide RFP, SOW, and Bid Templates to ICT design consultants and LVC
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues
• Support new technology development activities
• Travel to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors
