Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking experienced Thermal/Mechanical Engineers to work on the next generation of cloud platforms, focusing on design, planning, and delivery of AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• 7+ years experience in server technologies such as thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and thermal design and development for complex electronic systems
• Design and validate systems and subsystems to meet program objectives
• Participate in the cross-discipline design process working with other HW and SW team members to develop optimized integrated solutions
• Conduct failure analysis and solution validation for product development and fleet systems
• Manage interaction with overseas resources
• Provide mentorship and technical reviews to a team of mechanical/thermal design engineers
