Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network aiming to provide fast, reliable internet to customers worldwide. The Kuiper Identity and Access Management team is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to collaborate with customers, develop solutions, and enhance system security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix, CI/CD pipelines, and large-scale infrastructure automation

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to implement tailored solutions
• Develop Identity and Access management solutions for Kuiper environments
• Improve observability measures, security, and CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate identity solutions with external systems like M365 and Atlassian
• Manage File Storage solutions and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Troubleshoot complex issues and align infrastructure improvements with business needs
• Mentor junior team members, stay updated on emerging technologies, and document processes
