Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative within Amazon focused on revolutionizing global connectivity through the development of a Low Earth Orbit satellite communication constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, aerospace, or similar field
• 8+ years of space vehicle, bus, RF payload, or optical payload integration and test or related industry experience
• 8+ years developing space or communication system test requirements, plans, and procedures for system design verification and validation
• 6+ years developing code in Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, Docker, Rust on Linux platforms and experience with industry standard coding practices

Responsibilities

• Provide System Integration and Test leadership to various satellite and ground communication components
• Specify and develop end-to-end payload or sub-system integration and test plans and procedures
• Create test algorithms, test scripts, and calibration routines for lab and field evaluation
• Architect, design, and validate mechanical, optical, and electrical support equipment for test execution
• Prepare reports documenting test results, performance metrics, and communicate issues effectively
