Sr. RF Hardware Design Engineer, Kuiper Ground Systems Engineering

Job Description

Seeking an RF Hardware Development Engineer to support satellite ground systems development efforts for a Low Earth Orbit constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering field
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of hardware development experience

Responsibilities

• Work with industry leading suppliers and other Kuiper Engineering teams to ensure internal and external hardware and RF requirements are met
• Support the delivery and installation of critical ground systems RF hardware to support the launch and deployment of Kuiper satellites
• Perform analyses, prepare documentation, and conduct presentations for parabolic LEO TT&C and Gateway Terminal systems
• Create plans and schedules with clear, measurable success criteria, and communicate progress with leadership
• Troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and make recommendations for improvements to fielded RF hardware
• Simplify processes, demonstrate innovation, creativity, and good judgment when solving problems
• Drive best practices, deal with ambiguity, identify and mitigate risks, and present effectively to senior management
