Data Center Controls Engineer, Data Center Capacity Delivery - Controls

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a Data Center Controls Engineer to troubleshoot and maintain building and electrical systems in AWS data centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field with 3+ years of Controls experience; or Associates degree with 5 years of Controls experience; or High School diploma with 8 years of Controls experience
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments
• Experience in Controls or Electrical construction project coordination
• Experience with TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS related issues
• Train and assist internal customers in the design, configuration, and operation of BMS and EPMS systems
• Develop project scope, schedule, and budget for BMS and EPMS projects
• Manage execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects
• Assist in procurement activities and vendor management
• Provide technical support on BMS and EPMS systems during data center life cycle
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces
• Manage stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and project finances
• Frequently visit assigned data centers to troubleshoot and supervise vendor work
• Participate in AWS global on-call schedule for immediate technical support
