Data Center Controls Engineer, Data Center Capacity Delivery - Controls

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continuous access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering degrees with 3+ years of Controls related experience; or Associates degree with 5 years of Controls related experience; or High School diploma with 8 years of Controls related experience
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments
• Minimum of two (2) years in Controls or Electrical construction project coordination
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS related issues
• Train and assist internal customers with BMS and EPMS systems
• Provide technical assistance and support during the data center life cycle
• Develop projects scope, schedule, budget, and level of efforts for BMS and EPMS
• Manage BMS and EPMS improvement projects in AWS data centers
• Assist in procurement activities and vendor management
• Participate in global on-call schedule for immediate technical support
• Attend project meetings, coordinate with leaders, and report status
• Support commissioning activities and controls projects in data centers
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces
• Manage stakeholder deliverables, requirements, and financials
• Frequently visit assigned in-operation data centers for troubleshooting and compliance
