Test Development Engineer, Kuiper Spacecraft Mechanical, Dev Test & Integration

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer to design and develop test infrastructure for mechanical satellite systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in design and validation of hardware systems, including use of CAD
• 3+ years of experience developing test infrastructure for testing complex systems
• 2+ years of experience with automating hardware testing and data analysis using Python, LabVIEW, C++ or similar

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, develop, and implement test equipment and infrastructure used in satellite flight hardware development and qualification
• Author, refine and implement validation, verification, acceptance and qualification test procedures
• Lead and participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and contribute to continuous improvement of satellite hardware performance
