ADC Engineer I, Non-Relational Database Services, DBS Non Relational

Job Description

AWS is seeking engineers with solid Linux, system administration, or scripting knowledge to own and advance a mission-critical service in Dedicated Clouds (ADC) in Denver, CO. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud computing technologies and be part of a team supporting Relational Database Services and Platform infrastructure.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment
• 1+ years of experience in operating systems administration
• 1+ year experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

Responsibilities

• Design and build operational scalability to sustain platform growth
• Engage in deep-dive troubleshooting and post-mortem discussions for complex issues
• Support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS
• Diagnose, respond to, measure, and automate operational issues on the AWS Services platform
