Join the Kuiper Satellite Engineering and Mechanicals Development team at the forefront of next-generation satellite design as a Senior Software Development Engineer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom software tools to support various engineering tasks and workflows
• Collaborate closely with hardware and systems engineers to understand their needs and requirements
• Implement efficient and scalable solutions for data analysis, simulation, and automation
• Optimize existing tools and processes to improve productivity and efficiency
• Experience with systems integration and testing methodologies
• Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & continuous monitoring
• Evangelize engineering excellence best practices and mentor junior engineers
