Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead test strategy development and implementation for complex robotic systems.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years of manufacturing test engineering experience
• Proven experience with industrial robotics, PLC systems, and motion control testing
• Strong programming skills in test automation (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or similar)
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and quality management systems

Responsibilities

• Lead test strategy development and implementation for complex robotic manipulation systems and industrial automation products
• Architect scalable test solutions for deployment across multiple manufacturing sites
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects
• Design and implement comprehensive test solutions for robotic arms, end-of-arm tooling, and control systems
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes and methodologies
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contract manufacturers for test equipment development and deployment
