Sr. Software Development Engineer , Over the Air Updates

Job Description

Senior Software Development Engineer position responsible for leading the development of software solutions for Amazon Devices' platform solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Work on the architecture definition for solutions used in all Amazon Devices
• Drive engineering best practices and set standards for your team and related teams
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of key Device Component features
• Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
• Develop and maintain REST-based interfaces
