Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking talented individuals to join a diverse team of engineers and specialists to design and maintain AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years of additional qualifying experience
• 6+ years of experience in design engineering or construction industry related to Mechanical aspects
• 4+ years’ experience using Revit for producing Mechanical & Plumbing engineering BIM models and construction drawings
• Experience applying local codes, ICC requirements, and other industry standards

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to understand user requirements
• Create data center mechanical designs and collaborate with other disciplines for construction document sets
• Define project scopes and provide technical support during construction phases
• Work with commissioning teams to validate installation and operation of mechanical systems
