Controls Engineer, Data Center, Colocation Regional Engineering - AMER

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Controls Colo Engineer to work on the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, focusing on maintaining the cloud's continuous operation and ensuring customer access to innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in project coordination with multiple teams or vendors

Responsibilities

• Work with internal business teams and colocation vendors to identify and resolve operational/design deficiencies
• Provide full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through maintenance
• Collaborate with the DCE Colocation Design and Standards team to develop and implement new standards
• Review risks within Building Management System and Electrical Power Monitoring System for AWS Colo Data Centers
• Support design upgrades for existing Colo Data Center control systems to improve capacity, availability, and efficiency
• Lead internal team training on Colo controls and improve related processes
