Software Development Engineer II, Kuiper Network Services - Network Orchestration

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of low earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband internet connectivity to un-served and under-served communities around the world. The SDE-II role involves building the network infrastructure for satellite to ground based connectivity and driving the engineering culture of the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers across the org for solution pipelines
• Work on initiatives building networking functions on AWS infrastructure
• Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for system health monitoring
• Help engineer and build solutions for Internet service providers
