Innovation and Design Engineer, World Wide Design Engineering (WWDE)

Job Description

Seeking innovative engineers to design next-generation fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• Experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) design projects
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Manage multiple projects from concept to design approval
• Act as primary technical contact for suppliers
• Collaborate with Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning
• Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems
