Data Center Controls Engineer, Data Center Capacity Delivery - Controls

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to troubleshoot and maintain building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems in AWS data centers.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field with 3+ years of Controls experience, or Associates degree with 5 years of experience, or High School diploma with 8 years of experience
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments
• Minimum of two years in Controls or Electrical construction project coordination
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS related issues
• Train and assist internal customers with BMS and EPMS systems
• Develop projects scope of work, budget, and level of efforts
• Manage execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects
• Provide technical support during the life cycle of data centers
• Review and take actions on maintenance results and action items
• Assist in procurement activities and manage service contracts
• Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces
• Attend project meetings, coordinate with leaders, and report status to management
• Support commissioning activities in data centers
