Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Sensor Technology Leader to develop innovative hardware designs for emerging robotic systems and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• BS / MS Electrical, Mechanical or Optical Engineering (or similar field)
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical and system level design
• Thorough understanding of technical principles and concepts in hardware development
• Experience mentoring and developing younger engineers
• Expert in sensing and compute technologies
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead product designs from concept to production
• Support the architecture development for complex camera, compute or machine vision modules
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction
• Write functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures
• Provide technical advisement to stakeholders
• Develop sensor strategy and roadmap
