Job Description

Senior BIM Software Development Engineer (SDE) position at AWS Data Center Design Engineering - BIM Technology team focused on innovating through new Building Information Modeling (BIM) and GenAI services for data center facilities globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 7+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience developing custom BIM software and integrations with third-party API like Autodesk Platform Services

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead on demanding, cross-functional projects
• Translate functional requirements into robust, scalable solutions within the system architecture
• Help establish technical standards and drive technical architecture and engineering practices
• Design experiments with machine learning/deep learning techniques for data center facilities
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on design, coding, troubleshooting, and operational excellence
