Job Description

The Manufacturing Test Development Engineer role at Amazon's Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging Operations involves implementing best-in-class test techniques and processes within a complex manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Completed BSEE or equivalent required
• 5+ years related work experience in fast-paced environments
• Expertise in test strategy development and implementation
• Experience with manufacturing test development with external vendors
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to deliver test solutions
• Experience in electrical design of test circuitry and specifying test interfaces
• Experience working with outsource manufacturing partners

Responsibilities

• Developing electrical test protocol, equipment, and test programming
• Documenting test procedures, specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Launching and supporting test solutions to manufacturing partners
• Writing programs to control test equipment and devices under test
• Specifying and guiding manufacturing test development with external vendors
• Proposing design changes to enhance product manufacturability and testability
• Evaluating and approving product electrical Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs)
• Working with field deployment sites to improve test processes
• Supporting a culture of inclusion and collaboration
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
