Software Development Engineer II - DSO, Demand Science Optimization (DSO)

Job Description

The Amazon DSO team is seeking an engineer with an interest in Machine Learning to impact Amazon's device businesses through forecasting demand and managing supply using ML and big data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Forecasting demand and managing supply of all Amazon Devices using Machine Learning and big data
• Building a common modeling framework for DSO science teams
• Designing systems to handle huge amounts of data and train thousands of models
