Job Description

As a Data Center Controls Engineer at AWS Infrastructure Services, you will troubleshoot, manage, and innovate in the controls space for AWS data centers.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field with 3+ years of Controls experience; or Associates degree with 5 years of Controls experience; or High School diploma with 8 years of Controls experience
• Experience with industrial controls in critical environments
• Minimum of two years in Controls or Electrical construction project coordination
• Experience with TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocols

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS and EPMS issues
• Train and assist internal customers with the design, configuration, and operation of BMS and EPMS systems
• Develop and manage BMS & EPMS improvement projects
• Assist in procurement activities and vendor management
• Participate in global on-call schedule for immediate technical support
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders
• Manage stakeholder deliverables and project finances
• Develop and modify controls logic programming
• Frequently visit in-operation data centers for troubleshooting and compliance checks
