Machine Learning Engineer, Generative AI Innovation Center - Model Customization

Job Description

The Generative AI Innovation Center at AWS is seeking an SDE to drive the development of custom Large Language Models (LLMs) and innovate at the forefront of AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and/or machine learning methods
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technology

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed training pipelines for LLMs
• Adapt LLMs for new languages, domains, and applications through pre-training and fine-tuning
• Optimize AI models for deployment on AWS Silicon
• Interact with enterprise customers and foundational model providers
