Sr. Systems Development Engineer - DevOps, Device OS DevOps

Job Description

Amazon Lab126 is seeking a skilled engineer to design and build self-service tools for software development teams to publish code at speed.

Requirements

• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of key features
• Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
• Plan and coordinate feature improvements and upgrades around services
• Analyze and improve availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security, and performance of services
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with production systems as part of the on-call rotation
• Develop and maintain tools
