Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their global engineering team responsible for designing and innovating data center infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 12+ years of relevant electrical experience
• 7+ years of experience with industrial or commercial electrical design
• 9+ years of experience developing design documentation for construction and permitting

Responsibilities

• Data center electrical designs and collaboration with other disciplines
• Creation of designs meeting quality and budget requirements
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and municipal requirements and building codes
• Review and approval of equipment submittals
• Providing technical support for construction phases
• Testing and validating installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems
• Working on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
