Endpoint/Linux Engineer, Retail Back of House Engineering

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Endpoint/Linux Engineer to support Amazon Fresh technology transitioning to the team, focusing on retail endpoint devices integrating with Linux systems in AWS.

Requirements

• Experience with Linux, primarily Red Hat Linux
• Experience as a DevOps engineer releasing to production environments
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting
• Experience with AWS console access
• Proficiency in Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu Linux operating systems
• Experience with Bizerba and Mettler Toledo hardware and software
• Familiarity with endpoint devices for retail operations, such as scales and printers

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain retail endpoint devices integrated with Linux systems in AWS
• Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu Linux operating systems
• Develop and implement solutions for retail endpoint devices, particularly scales and printers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration between enterprise server solutions and retail devices
• Contribute to DevOps practices and release management for production environments
