Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continual access to innovation for customers. They are seeking talented individuals to join their diverse team and collaborate on creating efficient, cost-effective, and scalable structural designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years professional experience in commercial, warehouse, and/or industrial new design and remediation with working knowledge of structural engineering conventional practices
• Experience in seismic design and detailing for structural steel and reinforced concrete structures

Responsibilities

• Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance
• Work on conceptual design, build, and retrofit projects at existing data centers
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, schedule, and reduce costs for data center construction projects
• Manage external structural design consultants through audit, design, and implementation of projects
