Job Description

Join our team within Amazon Advertising as we pioneer the next generation of AI-assisted development tools, leading the architectural vision and implementation of AI-powered development solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered code generation systems that integrate with the UI component library and design system
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to translate AI/ML research into production-ready features for the UI playground environment
• Build and maintain integration points between AI tools and the UI design system to ensure generated code follows established patterns and standards
• Develop and implement validation systems to ensure AI-generated code meets quality, accessibility, and performance requirements
• Work with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive AI-assisted development features
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability and stability of AI code generation features
