Job Description

Annapurna Labs, a part of AWS, is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to work on Cloud-Scale Machine Learning Acceleration Infrastructure and contribute to the development of cutting-edge products.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience
• 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment experience
• 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• 2+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
• Experience leading the design, build, and deployment of complex and performant software solutions in production

Responsibilities

• Build Cloud-Scale Machine Learning Acceleration Infrastructure
• Interact with multiple teams to develop and execute infrastructure development plans
• Define security requirements and threat models
• Automate host operating systems patching and define software service's security posture
• Execute strategies for vulnerability remediation and drive activities across multiple teams
• Identify security trends, enhance security visibility, and recommend improvements to security posture
• Address infrastructure security risks involving networking, high-performance compute clusters, automation of hardware/software/firmware testing, and ASIC/EDA development
• Help scale the next generation of cloud infrastructure based on cloud frameworks and AWS services
• Own security reviews for infrastructure development and partner with AWS service teams and vendors
• Influence technical implementation for overall system designs and implement process improvements
