Systems Development Engineer II, AWS ADC Storage Services

Job Description

The Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC), AWS for Government, Storage Services team is hiring a Systems Development Engineer to work with U.S. Government agencies in implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and solving technical problems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting complex system operations
• Developing and building new features for Amazon Elastic File System (EFS), Amazon FSx, and Amazon S3 on Outposts
• Working with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services
• Improving the customer experience by diving deep into technical issues
