Job Description

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure to ensure constant access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• US Citizenship Required
• ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• 2+ years experience in structural design for industrial or commercial projects
• Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred
• Proficiency in building codes and regulations
• Experience in seismic analysis and design

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design team for Amazon DCs in the Americas Region
• Provide technical guidance, review drawings, and solve implementation issues
• Design prototypical DC facilities and structural systems
• Contribute to the development of buildings emphasizing security, safety, and efficiency
