Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Use modern technologies to solve complex problems at scale
• Deliver solutions that scale in volume and handle the complexity of diverse workflows and country specific rules/regulations
• Own automation of business processes in a full stack, mostly server-less environment
• Solve the challenging problem of scaling services to serve hundreds of thousands of Amazonians across the globe in real-time
• Execute against project plans and delivery commitments
• Solve complex business and technical problems by diving deep and using sound judgement
• Work with multiple cross functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate solutions
• Collaborate and lead initiatives across multiple teams to develop applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Design and develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines
• Develop and mentor junior and new team members
• Lead engineering excellence initiatives for the org
