System Development Engineer, AWS IoT Foundational Services Infrastructure

Job Description

Join the AWS IoT Foundational Services team to design and build back-end systems and software supporting billions of connected devices worldwide.

Requirements

• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby

Responsibilities

• Build services and automation to operate, manage, and scale the growing fleet and customer base
• Solve problems and improve services and organizational infrastructure
• Develop systems and automation to enhance availability and reliability of AWS IoT Core services
• Design and build systems to achieve performance and scalability goals of AWS IoT Core
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical peers to deliver and manage infrastructure and services across AWS IoT
