Senior Electrical Engineer, Inter-satellite Link Avionics

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. The Senior Electrical Engineer will focus on designing electrical functions for spacecraft interfaces.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in hardware development across various industries
• Experience with PCB design, debugging, and ECAD tools
• Experience with high-speed interconnects, motor & actuator control electronics, and sensors
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python or C/C++

Responsibilities

• Lead tasks related to board design, layout review, system test, and root cause analysis
• Ensure high-quality and innovative designs for electrical functions
• Collaborate with multiple spacecraft design and integration teams
• Work autonomously on solving complex problems and supporting colleagues
