Sys Dev Engineer, Kuiper Antenna Test Infrastructure

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit. The Senior System Development Engineer will architect HW/SW infrastructure for test automation for Satellite Payload Antennas and Customer Terminals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• Experience with version control systems and code repositories
• Experience in development of hardware automation and test systems
• Experience with Hardware/Software system bring up and debugging

Responsibilities

• Design new antenna test systems using RF equipment
• Determine automation requirements across internal and external teams
• Develop test frameworks for loading software builds and configuration
• Develop automation services to optimize measurements
• Train internal and external teams on test automation
