Production Support Engineer, Project Kuiper RF HW

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative by Amazon to launch Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband connectivity to underserved communities. They are looking for a HW Production Support Engineer to work on satellite RF hardware integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or 3+ years of equivalent relevant experience
• Experience with RF/ microwave test up to 50 GHz
• Experience with design or sustaining of complex digital systems
• Experience with troubleshooting using lab equipment
• Understanding of test and measurement metrology

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-performing flight RF hardware units and lead resolution plans
• Work on improving test stability and quality of measurement data
• Implement design changes to improve hardware performance
• Track performance trends in production line
• Collaborate with various engineering disciplines and stakeholders
• Facilitate production of high-performance RF components for space flight
• Support manufacturing and test engineering teams
• Track KPIs and communicate regularly with management
