Sr. Antenna Engineer, Kuiper Antenna Test Infrastructure

Job Description

Join Project Kuiper to work on the initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) by developing and testing phased array antennas and customer terminals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures
• 5+ years of professional experience in EM modeling and RF design
• Experience with MATLAB, lab work, RF test equipment, and Automation of Test Equipment

Responsibilities

• Engage with a cross-disciplinary team to develop and execute tests of Payload phased array antennas and customer terminals
• Design new antenna test systems for beam pattern test, dynamic beam pointing test, and link verification
• Build the Antenna Metrology lab and the fastest Ka-band antenna test system in the world
• Provide test systems and techniques to verify satellite hardware, integrate test automation, and connect Responsible Engineers with test metrics
