Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanical Components, Hardware Engineering - Manufacturing

Job Description

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is looking for experienced Manufacturing Engineers to help build the world’s premier cloud computing platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware
• 5+ years working with mechanical components and processes such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, fans, connectors, etc.
• 5+ years of product development experience
• 5+ working with manufacturing suppliers to improve incoming quality of systems

Responsibilities

• Manage quality at component manufactures
• Provide On-Site support to new product launches and to resolve quality issues (25-50% Travel)
• Design in quality and manufacturability on new designs of servers and racks
• Root cause customer impacting issues and drive resolution
