Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking talented AWS Dedicated Cloud Engineers to join their Region Reliability Engineering & Automation team to ensure the seamless operation of AWS’s dedicated cloud regions through proactive reliability engineering, automation, and leading-edge solutions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP
• 3+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows)
• Experience working with scripting languages
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative solutions to reduce repetitive tasks and implement systems that minimize manual intervention
• Expand regional coverage for AWS’s critical services
• Conduct deep dives into system and service interdependencies, proactively identifying and resolving challenges
• Collaborate with industry-recognized engineers and contribute to a culture of excellence and reliability
• Partner with U.S. Intelligence and Defense agencies to ensure mission resilience by implementing secure and scalable cloud solutions
