Sr. Security Engineer (AI VM), AWS Vulnerability Management

Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join the AWS Security Vulnerability Management team. The role involves assessing and managing vulnerabilities across AWS services, with a focus on AI services and their software supply chains.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
• 4+ years of experience in network, system, or software architecture; design, implementation, support, and security evaluation of tools and services
• 2+ years of experience in cryptography, web and network protocols, data structures and algorithms, software development, threat modeling, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessments

Responsibilities

• Assess and model security risks across AWS services, including AI/ML systems and their dependencies
• Perform vulnerability and impact assessments considering base, temporal, and environmental factors
• Analyze large datasets to identify security trends and emerging risks for AI managed services
• Evaluate security controls supply chain risks for AWS AI services
• Drive security improvements through technical guidance and risk assessment
