System Development Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Support (AFTS)

Job Description

Amazon is looking for a DevOps engineer to join the Platform Engineering & Support Services team, responsible for supporting software applications related to fulfillment services.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues
• Developing monitoring solutions
• Performing software maintenance and configuration
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code
• Performing SQL queries
• Building and developing tools to automate daily operational activities
