Job Description

Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Battery System Engineer to work on designing and verifying Li-ion battery systems for innovative consumer products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with EE technical focus or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in HW validation/test
• Experience with Li-Polymer battery validation
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment
• Familiarity with Python, Matlab or other programming / scripting language

Responsibilities

• Design and verify Li-ion battery system per performance and safety requirements
• Validate battery management systems
• Drive battery development and validation for NPI programs
• Execute battery safety and reliability tests
• Create battery specifications
• Test and qualify new battery packs
• Support factory and field issues related to battery
