Sr. Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is seeking an experienced Senior Satellite Test Engineer to help architect innovative test infrastructure and take satellites from initial build to launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on testing experience.
• 5+ years in design and validation of hardware systems.
• 5+ years in a development environment.
• 5+ years developing and executing test plans for complex aerospace, automotive or consumer electronics systems.
• 2+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, MATLAB, C)

Responsibilities

• Develop, augment, and support testing of components to determine suitability for flight.
• Lead the definition and implementation of organization wide test strategies.
• Work with various engineering teams to design test plans and execute test campaigns.
• Own vehicle level test campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop complex test automation sequences using scripting languages such as Python.
• Develop innovative hardware and processes to optimize and improve testing capabilities.
