Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Job Description

Seeking an innovative leader to design world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally, with a focus on automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
• Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval
• Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers on projects
• Support Ops Engineering team in the installation and commissioning of projects
