Job Description

The System Engineer role at Amazon Robotics involves overseeing the installation, troubleshooting, integration, and commissioning of robotic equipment in fulfillment centers.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or closely related STEM field
• Experience working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems
• Understanding of data collection, reporting processes, and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficient in standard office software tools and processes
• Ability to read technical drawings and develop technical documentation
• Willingness to work in a construction or warehouse environment and travel extensively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support and guide installation of robotic technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers
• Develop detailed knowledge of robotic systems and guide installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and oversee project deployments
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve deployment issues
• Deliver projects by owning key performance indicators (KPIs) around on-time delivery, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability
