Job Description

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations in foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), offering development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), and more in AWS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
• 4+ years of systems development in an IT or data center environment
• 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment
• 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience

Responsibilities

• Authoring requirements specifications, system design, and development
• Developing software to validate hardware, monitoring the cloud fleet, and identifying failure signatures
• Leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant software solutions in production
