Job Description

Senior Power and Performance Software Engineer position within AWS UC focusing on tool development, coding, and data analysis for machine learning data center team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, etc.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining custom tools for power and performance measurement
• Experience with data analysis frameworks and data visualization tools
• Background in automating system-level performance testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate tools and frameworks for running training and inference workloads
• Perform in-depth data analysis of collected power and performance metrics
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data collection strategies
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualization tools
• Contribute to the creation of end-to-end automated pipelines for continuous power and performance testing
• Design and implement data validation processes
• Optimize data collection and analysis processes
• Collaborate to build a comprehensive test suite for validating power and performance benchmarks
• Stay current on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices
